Rob Clifton

Rob Clifton is the COO of Asite. He has 10 years of experience in the construction technology industry including spending the last 7 years at Asite.

After achieving a First Class Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University (UK), Rob pursued a career in ConTech. Beginning his career at Laing O’Rourke, the largest private contractor in the UK, he developed an understanding of the real innovation challenges that face those out in the field. With experience on major infrastructure projects such as Heathrow Terminal T2A, and DP World London Gateway Port he saw there was a real need for wider technology innovation and adoption. During that time, and having used Asite from a Contractor perspective, Rob felt the most efficient path would be to drive change from the technology side and so took up a role at Asite in 2015.

Starting out as an implementation consultant, Rob has developed through the business, most recently heading up operations for UK/Europe, before moving into the COO role 18 months ago.  Rob has a passion for innovation in the pursuit of problem-solving and efficiency and continues to pour his energy to ensure that the challenges of those out in the field are being met with innovative technological solutions.
